new yarn shop!

We will try and keep the exclamation marks to a minimum but this is very exciting news which we're a little bit excited by!

We started The Woolly Brew because we wanted to have a yarn shop.  A shop with a range of yarns - animal, plant and acrylics, across a range of price points with a range of colours and enough balls to knit a cardi!

We want to see the yarn and give it a squeeze before we buy!  Whether it is an economical wool blend ball or a semi precious hand dyed hank.

We also want to be inspired and to inspire other knitters/crocheters - the wannabes, beginners, hobbiest and the obsessed with samples, patterns, yarn tasting, community and tea and cake!

It has taken a while to find a shop.... but finally we are sooooooooooooo pleased to announce...

we have a shop!!!!!

It will be on Pittenweem High Street and we're opening early December 2011

Now begins the exciting (and a little terrifying) job of picking yarns, needles, planning classes and events, sorting out a loyalty scheme and letting everyone know where we will be.

If we will be your Local Yarn Shop (or if you're going to visit from afar) then please let us know what you would like to see (and feel).

You can contact us at thewoollybrew AT gmail.com or join us on Facebook and Ravelry and remember to sign up for our newsletter too.

Oh, and we're still going to have our kits - excellent for young and beginner sewers, knitters and crocheters!
