Yet another Opal 4ply sock yarn has arrived!

Schafpate XI is Opal's annual collection in support of sheep farming in Germany.  You can read about it on their website.

This is our 8th Schafpate collection... our first was in 2012!

This sock yarn is  38% wool 30% cotton 32% polyamide.  So... still hardwearing but a little lighter!

One 100g ball will make you at least one pair of socks.

These are all 4ply.

Safari and Colors in Love are the usual 75% wool, 25% nylon mix - warm and hard wearing and they hold their sock shape!
Sport is little bit different... the clue is in the name!  It is 60% wool, 25% polypropylene and 15% nylon.  Apparently the polypropylene gives better temperature and moisture control!  So good for all you active folk.
