Did you get a Woolly Brew kit this Christmas?

Did you get a Felted Shoulder Bag kit or a Crochet Kit in your Christmas stocking?  Or maybe one of our Felt Flower packs?

Check out these links to get the most out of your kit...

In each of our Felt Flower kits we have included a little stitching guide.  Here are a few ideas for putting together your felt, buttons and stitches...  (click on the photos!)

includes how to sew on your brooch bar

If you have a Felted Shoulder Bag Kit, you can see each step in its construction here.  We've also put together some tutorials, showing you how to add a button hole and change the appearance of you bag once its felted.

If you're a beginner or a rusty knitter, remember we have a Learn to Knit workshop on Sunday 3rd February.  Where you can expand your knitting skills to include increasing, decreasing and reading patterns.

And you'll make a pair of mitts...

2 different styles to choose from!
All materials are included in the workshop cost.  Full details here.

Did you get a Crochet kit?

The kit contains everything you need to master double crochet stitch, create some cloths and use them with a lovely handmade soap.  Learning a new skill can take perseverance and if at first you don't succeed try try again... here are Fiona's (embarrassing) first efforts...

So... practise!  Once you've made you're cloths and mastered your double crochet you could try out treble crochet or indeed move on to Granny Squares.  We have an excellent booklet in the shop which can help.

And if you'd like to take it even further we'd highly recommend Lucy's website at Attic 24.  And maybe next Christmas you too could have a wreath like this...

We're going to create our own wreath this year... would you like to join us for a crochet/knit along?

Watch out for details soon!
