knitting projects - CraftBomb

As part of our short series of knitting projects... CraftBomb.

Voluntary Arts Week is an annual, week-long celebration of amateur arts and craft activities across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

This year it’s taking place between the 11th and 19th May.

From the Voluntary Arts Week website... "Whether you’re part of a group and looking for ways to get involved in Voluntary Arts Week, or an individual looking for events in your area, check out the Voluntary Arts Week website.  There are lots of ways to take part in this inspiring annual event."

Find out more at the Voluntary Arts Week website.

As part of this weekly event there are CraftBomb projects across the country.

From knitting and crochet to basket weaving and bunting making, whether you're part of a group, a crafty individual or a venue looking for a creative makeover, you can get involved.

You can download your own CraftBomb pack on the Voluntary Arts Week website.  It will give you step by step advice and useful links to help you plan an event.

If you don't want to organise your own event then you could join in other CraftBomb projects, contact info at voluntaryartsweek dot org to find out more.

And check out their Facebook page too!

Please remember that apart from Couthie Cushions (this years Pittenweem Arts Festival project) we are NOT directly involved in any of these projects and we are NOT collecting items. And in most cases we are NOT distributing patterns.  Please read the details on how to get involved and contact the organisers direct.
