steek - eek!

Some action shots from yesterday's steeking* workshop!

remember to breathe!

we made a mug cosy then cut it up!

And a sneaky peak of Janice's new tea cosy design...  we'll let you know when its available to buy on Ravelry.

And did you know Janice and her design partner Aurelie have their own Ravelry group now?  Find them at The Auld Woolly Alliance.

We're working on our new workshop schedule (you can see the old one here)... keep an eye out on the website and Facebook and if you'd like to be on the waiting list for any please let us know.

We'll start after the summer with some new additions!

*A steek is a bridge of stitches placed within the knitting at an opening point. Such as the front opening of a cardigan (or mug cosy!)   It allows the knitter to keep working in the round without interruption. When the knitting is complete, the steek is then cut and reinforced, thus creating the required opening.
