Do you remember who taught you to knit or crochet?

Granny, Mum, friend, workshop or You Tube?

Are you a winter knitter, only picking up the needles in cold weather?  Are you a baby knitter, knitting small things for small people?  Or maybe your passion is for hats or sweaters or socks?  Do you knit all year round using any yarn any pattern and have at least 4 projects on the go or you start to feel like something is missing in your life?

What about crochet, are you handy with a hook?  Do you crochet for edgings, granny squares and cloths?  Or do you do garments and complex patterns or maybe you freeform and scrumble?

Can you imagine not being able to knit or crochet?  Do you know someone who doesn't know and would like to learn?  Or maybe you'd like a refresher course yourself?

We are offering 2 workshops in the coming months for beginners and those who want to brush up on their skills:-

There are lots of reasons why a workshop is a great place to learn:-
  • Learning as a group is fun - you're often not the only one stuck on something, you can ask questions of other group members and you can support each other through any tricky bits and egg each other on.
  • You get a professional tutor who can start you off with no bad habits and who can encourage you to find your own comfy spot.  The group is small - only 6 people, so you'll get lots of one-to-one attention if you want it.
  • On these courses all the materials are included so you don't have to worry if you've not got the 'right' yarn or hook or needles.
  • You'll learn a life skill that can be creative, extravagant, economical, solitary, sociable, charitable, stress reducing and health inducing!

If you're already enjoying these benefits please tell your friends about it and tell them about our workshops too!

Call the shop or pop in to book a place.
