After a wee soak and a squeeze the tea cosy was dried on the teapot.
(Fiona) I've really enjoyed this project and although daunting at first, each technique was quite straightforward (with a little help from Google). My top tip is - read the WHOLE pattern and mark on the chart page any special instructions...
I do need to improve my left hand tension when knitting two handed though...
