But yesterday we held a Finishing Techniques workshop at the shop with Janice Anderson.
The secrets of mattress stitch (from all angles) were revealed, how to choose the best decreases and increases and where to use them, and also the holy grail of picking up stitches.
There were a lot of "A-Ha" light bulb moments and everyone felt they had learnt techniques that would make their sewing up so much easier and their garments so much better!
We'll be running another Finishing Techniques workshop in the New Year. Watch out for dates here on the website and in our newsletter.
