Our first new Opal 4ply for 2019 is Ice Cream
A stripey effect, with broad shades bordered by narrower darker stripes.
As usual it comes in 100g balls (you only need 1 ball for a pair of socks).
The classic 75% wool with 25% nylon mix - warm and hard wearing and they hold their sock shape!
1 ball makes 1 pair of socks, or 2 pairs of short socks, or 2 short cowls. You could make 2 hats, or at least 2 pairs of small hand warmers, or several small gift bags or 20 small bunting flags! 100g will also give you a decent length of scarf/shawl or a jumper for a baby. Or how about mixing it up with our solid colour Socks Yeah 4ply.
Opal shades are limited editions. That means once we sell out we are usually unable to get more! We still have some balls from recent collections. Including Monet and Butterfly.
