Workshops at The Woolly Brew!

We are really excited to announce our first workshops to be held at the Shop on Sundays!

The first one is on 29th April and its Finishing Techniques (for all those who hate to sew up and are disappointed by their efforts!) followed by Learn to Knit in May and Learn to Crochet in June.

Your tutor will be Janice Anderson.  Janice graduated wih a BA(Hons) from Grays Scool of Art, in Design and Craft with a specialisation in hand knitting. She went on to be a freelance knitwear designer and Arts & Craft tutor. She has been a Rowan Design Consultant in John Lewis as well as teaching Rowan workshops in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and Northern Ireland. Her design work has featured in Rowan publications including The Organic Cotton Kids Collection, Summer Baby and as exclusives on the Rowan website. In 2010 she began working as an assistant/workshop tutor in Wool for Ewe, Aberdeen. She is currently working independently as a knitting/crochet tutor/designer and she’s having a ball!

Stay tuned for a photo of her!

Each class is 10.30am - 4.30pm.  We'll provide the tea and cake and we ask you to bring a pack lunch (we're not sure what will be open for takeaway food on a Sunday in Pittenweem...)
