We're very excited to announce that Lilith from Old Maiden Aunt Yarns will be at the shop on Saturday 28th September with her unique collection of hand painted and hand dyed yarns!
Lilith is a Scottish-based indie yarn dyer producing unique & beautiful hand painted yarns. Many of her yarns are dyed in one-off colourways. She has a studio in West Kilbride and an online shop too. But this is the perfect opportunity to see, touch and buy her yarns in 'real life'... and of course meet the maker!

Yarn weights range from lace to aran.
Yarn blends include (amongst others)100% Bluefaced Leicester, 50/50 Merino Silk. There is Merino with Cashmere and a 50/50 Suri Alpaca and Merino blend... oh and Shetland and Organic Corriedale!
Or how about a Merino with 20% Nylon and 5% Stellina Sparkle... sparkly socks anyone?
Prices range from £12 for 400 yards of Bluefaced Leicester 4ply (as used in Tin Can Knit's Winding Way socks in Handmade in the UK) to £20 from 1300 yards of Alpaca/Silk/Cashmere.
Which we think is pretty good value! Especially in Lilith's exclusive colours. So...
Saturday 28th September
